Money redirected for urgent needs: City councilors from Visoko renounce their fees

(Patria) - The Visoko City Council, at today's 1st extraordinary session, unanimously passed the Decision on the amount of compensation for councilors and members of the working bodies of the Visoko City Council during the
the disaster caused by the coronavirus pandemic. During the coronavirus pandemic, City Councilors will not be paid a monthly fee (councilor's fee) in the amount of 150 KM.

The legal basis for passing this Decision is contained in Article 13 of the Law on Principles of Local Self-Government in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of FBiH", No. 49/06) and Article
10 of the Provisional Statute Decision of the City of Visoko ("Official Gazette of the Municipality of Visoko", No. 5/19), which stipulates the competence of the City Council to make decisions.

The City Council will redirect the money that was supposed to be paid for the fees to urgent and
immediate needs in the area of the City of Visoko.
