
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The 11th extraordinary session of the Federal Civil Protection Staff (FŠCZ) was held in Sarajevo today (March 30), chaired by commander Jelka Milićević. In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in the FBiH, today's FŠCZ session analyzed the measures adopted so far, considered future measures, and issued a new order on forced isolation for any person who fails to comply with the decision of the competent authority determining the isolation measure for the period for which the measure has been determined or extended.
This order obliges cantonal civil protection staffs to, in cooperation with cantonal crisis staffs of the health ministries, cantonal ministries of internal affairs, cantonal police administrations, cantonal inspection authorities, provide facilities and conditions for forced isolation with the necessary sanitary, health, and other living conditions for persons for whom an isolation measure has been determined. The deadline for establishing facilities for forced isolation is three days from the date of this order.
Head of the FŠCZ Fahrudin Solak informed the Staff members about the activities on disinfecting public areas in Konjic and Jablanica as the beginning of systematic disinfection of cities in FBiH, carried out by FUCZ and one of the measures in the fight against the spread of coronavirus (Covid – 19) infection.
