New coalition dismisses Tuzla Canton Government

TUZLA, (Patria) - The new convocation of the Tuzla Canton Assembly, led by President Žarko Vujović (SDP), held an extraordinary session at which it voted to dismiss the current Tuzla Canton Government. 19 deputies voted for the dismissal of the Tuzla Canton Government, 6 were against, and 9 deputies abstained.

The dismissal of the Tuzla Canton Government means that secretaries will take over the responsibilities of the ministries. According to Vujović, the new convocation of the Tuzla Canton Government should be formed by August 1st of the current year, and the name of the new mandate holder for the new cantonal government should be known as early as Monday. This position went to SDA.

Deputies in the Tuzla Canton Assembly today, upon the proposals of the majority in the Bosniak, Croat, and Serb clubs, elected Lejla Vuković (SBB), Boris Krešić from the Democratic Front (DF), and Žarko Vujović (SDP) as members of the leadership of this legislative body.

The new majority in the Tuzla Canton Assembly consists of SDA, SBB, DF, SBiH, and several deputies from SDP BiH and one from PDA.
