Two new coronavirus cases in Konjic

KONJIC, (Patria) - The Civil Protection of Konjic announced tonight that 11 samples were taken from the area of the municipality of Konjic during the day and tested for the presence of coronavirus COVID-19.

"Out of 11 tested samples, according to the test results, 2 samples are positive," they stated on their Facebook page.

Otherwise, the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Igman Konjic was held on March 11, and a few days later, coronavirus cases began to appear in that city, as well as in Goražde, Novi Travnik, and Sarajevo. A guest from Serbia, who was infected with coronavirus, was also at the celebration. The director of Igman Konjic, Đahid Muratbegović, is also infected, and on Tuesday, a 53-year-old man, who was the driver of the Igman director, passed away.

As announced by epidemiologist Aida Pitić, 110 self-isolation orders related to the event in Konjic were issued in Sarajevo.
