
An aircraft of the Russian company UTair, which requested an emergency landing, has successfully landed at the airport in St. Petersburg, Russian media report.
After the crash of a Germanwings plane yesterday in which 150 passengers died, a new drama is unfolding in the skies today, reports the Patria news agency.
Namely, a passenger Boeing 737 with 78 passengers and several crew members requested permission for an emergency landing at the main airport in St. Petersburg, a source from the Russian air traffic service said.
This source said that one of the plane's engines failed.
