Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina strongly condemns attacks on referees

The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina strongly condemns the attacks carried out by currently unidentified individuals on referees Ognjen Valjić, Sreten Udovičić, and Senad Ibrišimbegović after the 10th round match of the BHT Premier League between NK Široki Brijeg and FK Sarajevo.

- This unfortunate event, in which the physical integrity of young people was jeopardized, is not only worrying but also serves as a warning to take energetic measures so that such incidents never happen again.

In this context, the FF BH expects the competent security authorities to identify and prosecute the perpetrators of the attacks on the referees as soon as possible.

The competent bodies of the FF BH will also conduct an appropriate procedure to establish all facts and circumstances that preceded the unfortunate events after the match in Široki Brijeg. The Federation will persevere in its efforts to protect the competition and its officials in the performance of their duties - it is stated in the reaction of the FF BH.
