Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team begins preparations for match against Cyprus

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will gather today in Nicosia where they will play a qualifying match for the World Cup in Russia against the host selection of Cyprus on Thursday, reports the Patria agency.  

Before the gathering in Nicosia, coach Mehmed Baždarević shortened the list of players by several names, so Goran Karačić, Jasmin Burić, Rade Krunić, Dino Beširević and Nemanja Bilbija will not appear in Nicosia.  

Baždarević expects the following players at the gathering:

Goalkeepers: Asmir Begović, Ibrahim Šehić and Kenan Pirić.

Defenders: Ermin Bičakčić, Ognjen Vranješ, Sead Kolašinac, Edin Cocalić, Toni Šunjić, Jozo Šimunović, Ervin Zukanović and Dario Đumić.

Midfielders: Senad Lulić, Danijel Milićević, Miralem Pjanić, Gojko Cimirot, Anel Hadžić, Edin Višća, Mato Jajalo and Deni Milošević.

Forwards: Edin Džeko, Armin Hodžić, Riad Bajić, Vedad Ibišević and Kenan Kodro.

The match Cyprus – Bosnia and Herzegovina will be played on Thursday in Nicosia, with a live broadcast on BHT1 and BH Radio 1.
