German Lisa Alex waited years for Edin Džeko's jersey, and got it after sending him a letter

Lisa Alex, a 19-year-old German woman from Magdeburg, a football fan and a big supporter of Wolfsburg, is literally obsessed with BiH captain Edin Džeko and doesn't miss his matches, neither at Manchester City nor national team games, reports the Patria news agency.

- The day I first saw Edin, nothing else interested me. I had to buy every match, every new jersey from Edin – Lisa tells Patria.

Since she was interested in everything related to our Dragons, Lisa started following the BiH national team matches as well.

- Of course, I will be a guest at the Austria - Bosnia and Herzegovina match. The tickets are bought and I can't wait for that match. When he moved from Wolfsburg to City, I started following the English league – Lisa added.

She also went to several matches in England, and Edin was easy to spot because she gets tickets closest to the field, but she remembers the match when they became champions in May this year.

- When he saw the BiH flag after the match, he approached and we took a picture. Of course, I couldn't ask for his championship jersey. When I heard that City and Bayer would play, there was no dilemma, I went to the match – Lisa explains.

She says that was her hope to finally get the jersey of the BiH Dragon. She also wrote a letter to Džeko and left it at the reception of the Munich hotel where City was staying.

- I wrote in the letter that I hope he remembers me and that I would like to get a jersey after the match and that I will wait at the airport in Munich. After the match, I found out when they were flying and went to the airport. I saw Edin, he had a bag and was looking around. When he noticed me, he smiled and came over to me. I don't remember what he said anymore, his mouth was moving, and I didn't hear a sound! Only when he left did I come to my senses, but the jersey was with me and I was the happiest person in the world. I didn't expect him to be such a great person – Lisa added.

She adds in the end that she wishes to meet him in Austria too and thank him for everything that makes her life happy. Otherwise, her room is dedicated to Edin Džeko, and of course, the BiH flag is also indispensable.
