German Chancellor: Israel is doing a 'dirty job' for the whole world

(Patria) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz expressed strong support for Israel in its attacks on Iran, speaking on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Canada.

"This is a dirty job that Israel is doing for all of us. And we are also victims of this regime. The 'mullahs' regime has brought death and destruction to the world," Merz told ZDF.

He told Welt television that the Iranian leadership has been weakened by Israeli attacks in recent days. "This regime is now very weakened and will probably not return to its old strength, which makes the country's future uncertain," he added.

Merz emphasized that the European diplomatic offer still stands, should negotiations resume. "Germany, France, and Great Britain are ready to help again, as they were until last Thursday," he said.
