(Patria) - Barbara Moens, chief EU correspondent for POLITICO, reports that several EU countries, including the Netherlands and Denmark, have warned that the European Council next week should not simply give the green light to BiH.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced today she will recommend opening accession negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was granted candidate status in December 2022.
