We are not and will not be in a coalition with HDZ: Let SDA announce their agreement with them

(Patria) - Let them say if there is an agreement according to which the HDZ candidate should be the mayor of Mostar, which Dragan Čović unequivocally announced.

"As usual, whenever SDA and HDZ are preparing to formalize their pact at some level of government, as is the case with Mostar, they first start with a strategy of accusing others on the principle of 'offense is the best defense.'

I have said this before, and I will repeat it again: SDP is not in a coalition with HDZ in the Tuzla Canton, where HDZ does not even have deputies in the Assembly," says the president of SDP BiH, Nermin Nikšić.

In a statement to politicki.ba, he reacted to the announcement of a coalition between his party and HDZ BiH at the FBiH entity level, and several cantons, including Herzegovina-Neretva.

Nikšić rejects these claims and says that "the resignation letter from HDZ of one of the ministers in the TK Government is publicly available, so it is superfluous to add anything to this topic, where these facts are completely clear."

"On the other hand, after Čović announced it on election night, Izetbegović announced a traditional coalition with HDZ a month ago.

Of course, the leading Mostar cadres of this party also announced the same.

I invite them to announce their agreement.

Let them say if there is an agreement according to which the HDZ candidate should be the mayor of Mostar, which Dragan Čović unequivocally announced.

This will not prevent us from offering a candidate for this position from the BH bloc, the only political entity that has officially won mandates and support in all parts of the city, which could not be hidden even by the massive theft of those votes throughout Mostar.

We all know that the theft of BH bloc votes by members of the Coalition for Mostar, specifically SDA, is part of the joint project of SDA-HDZ to secure power.

As far as we are concerned, their coalition is entirely expected, so instead of the usual media games, we invite them to finally start working, to announce the continuation of the love affair they are transferring from the state, entity, and cantonal levels to the local level of Mostar, and to constitute local government in this city according to their agreement.

If this is not true, and they want changes, integration, and a European Mostar, then they can support the BH bloc candidate for mayor," Nikšić said.
