NiP accuses Mandić of manipulating fans: Why the sudden concern for a stadium whose name he was ready to change and hand over to a third party!?

(Patria) - At today's session of the Centar Municipal Council, Srđan Mandić once again attempted to manipulate the public, especially the fans and supporters of FK Sarajevo, announced the Municipal Organisation of NiP Centar.

"With worn-out methods and populist moves, he tried to present himself as someone who deeply cares, both about FK Sarajevo and the Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium. He proposed an additional agenda item at the Council that does little to solve anything in practice or for the benefit of FK Sarajevo, but in Article 2 of that decision, he sneaks in a provision that the Council gives him the authority to sign all future contracts without consulting or even informing the Municipal Council.

Although he tried to publicly deny this, it is well known what Srđan Mandić said less than a year ago - 'that he is ready to give the stadium to the Football Association,' and even 'that the stadium will no longer be called Asim Ferhatović Hase.' It is not excluded that with this decision he may have tried to bring these intentions to fruition.

Furthermore, it was not so long ago that, thanks to the club of NiP councillors, four million convertible marks were secured in the municipal budget for the 'Asim Ferhatović Hase' Stadium in Koševo. Videos from that session can easily be found on YouTube, showing how much Srđan Mandić opposed that proposal. However, despite Mandić's attempts to sabotage it, the proposal ultimately received the necessary majority.

And finally, the question arises: why such concern from Mandić for a stadium whose name he is ready to change and hand over to a third party, whereby FK Sarajevo would likely lose the opportunity to play there? The answer probably lies in the fact that elections are two months away, and Mandić has done nothing in these four years of what he promised during his campaign. FK Sarajevo, in the next round, if they pass Spartak Trnava, will again play their European matches in Zenica. So everything is the same as four years ago.

But instead, Mandić put up a sign, or as he called it, tourist signage, pointing to the stadium. He once again tried to play on the emotions of the fans. Perhaps if he had, over four years, arranged the road around the stadium so that tourists, citizens, and fans could approach it properly, this would not be so disgusting. But no, for the sake of a single picture mentioning the Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium, whose name he wanted to banish from Koševo, Mandić, two months before the elections, is ready for such things. And the fact that the stadium is inaccessible and that FK Sarajevo again has to play its international matches in Zenica means nothing to anyone.
