Nikšić admits the "Trojka" is failing, but lied about stepping down, with a plan to save and form a new coalition in the background

(Patria) - The ruling coalition embodied by the "Trojka" has completely capitulated to the policies of SNSD and HDZ.

This was confirmed by the leader of the "Trojka", Nermin Nikšić, in a statement to one of the Sarajevo daily newspapers, telling citizens not to expect any progress from the state government.

In Nermin Nikšić's statement, of course, there is nothing new, as citizens have long stopped expecting any progress from the state government in which the "Trojka" plays a completely subordinate and state-damaging role.

However, citizens' memories of Nermin Nikšić's promise that the "Trojka" would apologize to the citizens and step down if they did not succeed in governing with SNSD and HDZ are still fresh.

Today, however, it is not a question of whether it is succeeding or not, whether any positive processes for the state are unfolding or not, the leader of the "Trojka" himself, Nermin Nikšić, admits that citizens have nothing more to hope for from them.

Nor is it a question of what damage the "Trojka" has done so far - the only question is what scale of disaster will befall the state by the end of this term, in which, according to the authorities themselves, citizens have nothing good to hope for.

The credulity with which the "Trojka" entered into political processes is not only a reflection of the naivety and inexperience of some "Trojka" cadres. This cannot be said for the seasoned bureaucrat Nermin Nikšić.

Nikšić's moves, which have benefited HDZ and SNSD, are deeply conscious, and are not the result of naivety and inexperience, but of cold calculation.

The same calculation by which Nikšić is now calculating that parts of the current opposition will overlook everything that has been done, and in the interest of protecting criminal structures, establish some new coalition arrangement with him.

An arrangement similar to the "Trojka", which will place the interest of protecting criminal structures above all state interests, and which, above the clear interest of preserving the current constitutional-political position of the state, will open doors to arrangements that lead to an even deeper ethnic division of the state.
