No warning letter has arrived through official channels from the United States regarding Helez's meeting with the Iranian envoy!

(Patria) - No letter, and certainly not one "sharply toned", has arrived through official channels to Bosnia and Herzegovina from the United States of America regarding the meeting of Defense Minister Zukan Helez with the non-resident military envoy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Brigadier Mahmoud Mohaghegh Pour, has been confirmed for Slobodna Bosna.

This information was confirmed for our portal from multiple sources, after the pro-HDZ Večernji list, in an article signed by controversial propagandist Zoran Krešić, published yesterday that the "United States administration has sent a final warning, announcing the possibility of introducing sanctions against the BiH Minister of Defense Zukan Helez (SDP BiH) and penalties for Bosnia and Herzegovina by suspending all military cooperation programs if the announcements from the meeting are realized".

This news was also reported by Sarajevo television N1, which is very indicative, in a bilingual format - in Bosnian and English, and this after no new news had been published in English on the N1 television portal for three days.

The pro-HDZ Večernji list states that the letter "arrived from the office of Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth" and that it "warns without hesitation about the consequences, not only for the problematic Helez but also for the entire country of BiH, which could lose all privileges of partnership with the United States of America".

However, if the Ministry of Defense is hearing about such a letter for the first time, and if the letter was not sent through the BiH Embassy in Washington, the question arises through which channels the American administration communicates with BiH if not through official channels.

It is also indicative that Helez's meeting with the Iranian envoy was first problematized in the United States by Serbian lobbyist Rod Blagojevich, who, through his Twitter profile, warned the American administration about this meeting.
