(Patria) - The association "Ruku na srce" today at the International Center for
Children and Youth in Sarajevo, with the event "No child without a gift", began the final phase of the project of the same name.
Within this project, today and during the coming days, 4000 children from families with lower material status from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina will be delighted with New Year's gifts.
In addition to distributing gifts, children had the opportunity to watch the New Year's play "The Hedgehog's House" prepared by the association's volunteers. After the play, children could socialize with their favorite fairy tale characters and Santa Claus, and have fun with creative workshops.
More than a hundred young people, mostly students, worked on the realization of the project over the past three months.
Emphasizing the fact that the project has been realized for the fourteenth consecutive year, the president of the Association "Ruku na Srce", Jasmin Ćesir, said: "Being a part of this story, which aims to delight our youngest, creates an indescribable feeling of happiness, love, and pride." He reminded that only with a large number of donors and volunteers, as well as with the support of the media, can they tell such big and beautiful stories, and that they are therefore very grateful to everyone who participates in the "Ruku na srce" Association's campaigns.
"Everything the Association does for us and our children is wonderful. We are endlessly grateful for the joy our children feel when they receive a New Year's gift, it means a lot to us," said one of the parents.
As part of this year's "No child without a gift" project, the Association will delight children up to 12 years of age from families with lower material status from the Sarajevo Canton, as well as children from the association "Samostalan korak" from Sarajevo, the Association of Persons with Cerebral Palsy from Sarajevo, the Association of Roma Jačanje-Zuralipe Žepče, JU Primary School Prača, the association "Kriva rijeka" from Olovo, JU Primary School "Grivice" Banovići, the Association of Persons with Multiple Sclerosis from Sarajevo, the Center for Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation Sarajevo, the association "Slatki svijet" Bugojno, the Center for Social Work Breza, the Red Cross Maglaj, the Association of Citizens "Ternipe Romano" Gradiška, the Association for the Help of the Sick ŽIVOT from Sarajevo, Primary School "Srednje" Ilijaš, Second Primary School Bosanska Krupa, Center for Children without Parental Care DUGA from Kulen Vakuf, the association "Nova Vita" Sarajevo, Primary Schools "Hasam Turčalo Brzi" and "Fahrudin Fahro Beščlija" from Goražde, the Center for Integrative Inclusion of Roma and Romani Women Otaharin from Bijeljina, Primary School "Živinice Gornje", Safe House in Sarajevo, Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Youth from Sarajevo, the association "Dobročinstvo", JU Center for Children and

This year's realization of the "No child without a gift" project was supported by many citizens as well as the media through constant promotion of the project. The realization would not have been possible without numerous primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, student associations from various faculties, as well as many companies, associations, and sports clubs that recognized the warmth of this winter story.
The organizers express their greatest gratitude to the gold and silver sponsors, who enabled the achievement of the figure of 4000 gifts. This year's gold sponsors are: Bosnalijek, Holdina and Energopetrol, Enit doo, MN media, Europlakat, RSG medijska grupacija, CrossFit, Public Institution Children of Sarajevo, GS 1, School and School, Ziraat bank, HeadHunter company, Association of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hub Homework, AM Support, Mozaik startup studio

The association "Ruku na srce" was founded in 2010 by a group of then-students, united by one goal - to provide help to those in need. Their focus since then has been supporting families with lower material status from the Sarajevo Canton and throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. Among the volunteers are young people who, in addition to their obligations, dedicate their free time to humanitarian work.
The association operates under the motto "We know we cannot change the world, but sometimes even a little is enough to make someone's world more beautiful"; The Association has many successful projects, which you can learn more about at www.rukunasrce.ba, as well as on social networks facebook, instagram, linkedin, twitter and youtube.
