No injuries: Pale residents spent the night outside their homes

An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale hit the Pale area last night.

The Seismology Center of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute in Sarajevo registered a stronger earthquake at 02:05 AM, and the ground tremors were felt up to 50 kilometers from the epicenter.

The duty operator from the Pale police station told the BH News Agency Patria that Pale residents had a turbulent night, but that no one was injured.

- It was terrible, but the police had no interventions, so we assess that there were no injuries either - said the police.

One of the Pale residents told Patria that he and his neighbors did not dare to return to their homes for several hours, and some stayed outside until morning, fearing further tremors, writes NAP.
