No qualifiers are easy, but BiH is also going to EURO 2016.

Asmir Begović, goalkeeper of the BiH national football team and custodian of English Stoke, told the BiH news agency Patria that, regarding the groups drawn for the European Championship in France in 2016, BiH did not fare too badly considering other groups.

- It could have been better, but also worse. So I am satisfied. We have good teams in the group and it won't be easy, but no qualifiers are ever easy. So we will certainly have to play good matches against everyone to qualify, which I don't doubt at all. BiH will play EURO 2016 – says Begović.

We remind you that BiH will play in a group with Andorra, Cyprus, Wales, Israel, and Belgium. Begović, with all due respect to others, emphasizes that we must focus on our games.

- Belgium is a very good team, but we have to focus on ourselves and our game. Because, if the players are ready, we can play against any team in the world. Israel is a very tricky team. They play well at home, just like Wales, but every match will be a test for us, but we must not doubt ourselves for a moment. I think we have already proven our quality, we just need to continue working well and there will be no problems – added Begović.

Regarding his appearances for Stoke, Begović states that he regrets the last loss to Edin Džeko's Manchester City, and that their goal is to stay in the Premiership.

- It's a shame because we lost 1-0, and our goal is to remain in the league of the best. That is our primary goal, and if we achieve it, we will move on to the next goals. We still have matches ahead of us where we will try to collect as many points as possible – says Begović.

The Trebinje native also tells NAP that he is not thinking about another club at the moment.

- I am very happy at Stoke. I am not thinking about changing clubs, primarily because of the injury I had, so now my goal is just to play and for us to stay in the league. Of course, along with all that, I often think about playing in the World Cup in Brazil – reveals Begović.

To conclude the conversation, Begović says that he often hears from Edin Džeko and that they see each other when they find time.

- Edin and I are in contact and we see each other when we have time, but certainly less than we would like to see each other. But, most often I am in contact with Haris Medunjanin. We are roommates and I function best with him – says Begović.
