NES officially supports Muamer Bandić for Mayor of Novo Sarajevo

(Patria) - At today's meeting between the President of the Municipal Board of the People's European Union (NES) Nedim Salihagić and the candidate for Mayor of Novo Sarajevo Muamer Bandić (Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina), full support from NES for Bandić's candidacy was confirmed.



Salihiagić, as a current councilor in Novo Sarajevo, conveyed to Bandić all the problems that the citizens of this municipality, as well as councilors, have faced and continue to face over the past four years. NES councilor Nedim Salihagić said:

"We expect Bandić to do everything opposite to what the current government has done, to be open to citizens and partners who support him. He promised me that, which is why this support will not be merely declarative; we will fully support Muamer to enable changes in Novo Sarajevo. Because together we are stronger."

Bandić is grateful that in NES he can have a partner to realize his program vision.

"The Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina and NES have shown that a partnership based on healthy principles and trust can be built, without being burdened solely by concerns over seat distribution. I must say I am happy to have found the same in the cantonal leaderships of SDA and DF. I am sure this sends a message of unity to citizens from a political bloc that did not want to gamble with their fate or that of the state. Now, through the local story, we will show our joint strength and start changing Novo Sarajevo to the joy of all citizens," Bandić stated.

Salihiagić and Bandić called on the citizens of Novo Sarajevo to use their vote on October 6 as an opportunity and right to change the government.

"Support Muamer Bandić for Mayor of Novo Sarajevo because your trust will be his obligation to improve life in our municipality of Novo Sarajevo," was the message from NES.
