(Patria) - The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy informs the public that New Year's Day, in accordance with the Law on Holidays, is a holiday in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is celebrated for two days; January 1 and 2.
In this regard, the non-working days in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the upcoming New Year are Thursday, January 1 and Friday, January 2, 2026.
Employers, institutions, administrative bodies, and other legal entities shall not work on holidays, except for those who are obliged to work continuously in accordance with special regulations.
