Let Inzko now come out and show that he exists in this country

Adil Osmanović, Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH, who served as Vice-President of Republika Srpska for eight years, said that the adoption of the Declaration in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NSRS) on not recognizing the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH on January 9th as the Day of Republika Srpska (which has not even been adopted yet) with such a majority of votes shows that the political parties that gather the Serb electorate around them do not have the strength to distance themselves from the 90s, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

- It will take a lot more time for some things to be called by their right name. January 9th is exclusively contrary to the decisions and will of Bosniaks, Croats, and members of the category of others, and it is discriminatory towards both the Croatian and Bosniak peoples who live and work in the entity of Republika Srpska.

Osmanović said that during the eight years he was Vice-President of Republika Srpska, he never attended the commemoration of January 9th because that day is also a patron saint's day and it is incorrect to say that it should not offend or hurt any other people living in that entity.

- The decision of the Constitutional Court is being prejudged here, and it is obvious that the deputies themselves do not have a clear conscience regarding January 9th. If Republika Srpska is to have its day, it must be acceptable to all peoples living in Republika Srpska, Osmanović said.

When asked what the non-execution and disrespect of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH means, Osmanović said that it is a direct violation of the Criminal Code.

- I expect judicial institutions to initiate procedures, especially against high-ranking officials who advocate for this. It is all a matter of case law, and it must happen for the first time. I expect this to be the first time because this calls into question the constitutional and legal order of BiH and directly violates the Dayton Peace Agreement. We cannot expect only international institutions to work. Our judicial bodies must also work, Osmanović said.

Sadik Ahmetović, a representative in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, said that such a precedent has never been recorded anywhere in the world and called on Valentin Inzko, the High Representative in BiH, to come out before the BiH public and show that he exists in this country.

- This is a violation of the constitutional order of BiH, the Dayton Agreement, and Inzko should say why he cannot react. If any member of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) does not allow him to do so, he should say which country it is, because that country is destroying BiH, Ahmetović said.

He also added that the BiH Prosecutor's Office should finally start working on cases where the decisions of the highest judicial instance in BiH have not been respected.

- We have a situation here where disrespect for a decision is being sought even before it has been made. Does this mean that the NSRS already knows what the decision will be, or are they simply, for who knows what time, disrespecting the institutions of the state of BiH.
