(Patria) - In the Federation of BiH in June, 1,233 babies were born, and 1,506 inhabitants died. This means the natural increase is -273, and the vital index is 82.
According to the latest data from the Federal Institute of Statistics, in the same month this year, 846 marriages were concluded, while there were 113 divorces.
A negative natural increase was recorded in eight cantons in the Federation of BiH, except for West Herzegovina and Sarajevo Canton.
In the first half of the year, 7,094 babies were born in the FBiH, and 9,916 people died.
