Nedim Krndžija appointed as SBiH commissioner in BPK Goražde

(Patria) - Nedim Krndžija, former independent inspector of the Border Police of BiH and a wartime member of special police units, has been appointed as the commissioner of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde (SBiH BPK).

On this occasion, Krndžija was received at the party premises by the President of the Party for BiH, Semir Efendić, who congratulated him on his appointment and wished him successful work in the upcoming period.

During the meeting, Krndžija stated that his work as SBiH commissioner for BPK will be reflected in consistent and dedicated work towards achieving the party's goals, and especially in activities aimed at reintegrating young people into social and developmental processes.

Krndžija was born on April 18, 1968, in Goražde. He completed high school for internal affairs in 1987 in Sarajevo, and graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy in 2001 in Mostar.

He began his professional career as a police officer in OSUP Čajniče, where he worked until the beginning of the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the war and in the post-war period, he was engaged in KMUP Goražde, where he worked until 2006, after which he continued his career in the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina until his retirement in 2016.

During his service, he held positions from police officer to independent inspector. During the aggression, he was a member of the Special Purpose Police Unit, where he also held leadership positions. For his contribution and engagement during the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he was awarded a pistol with a dedication from the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Krndžija is married and the father of three daughters, and has been retired since 2016.

Speaking about his political engagement and commitment to the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, he emphasized that he signed his membership application for this party back in 1998, while he was an active police officer.

“I joined the Party for BiH at that time because of Dr. Haris Silajdžić and his vision for this country, its organization in all areas, and today because of the party leadership headed by President Semir Efendić, who are true and proven followers of that policy,” Krndžija stated.
