'I won't sentence you to less than 105, more than 505': Prosecutor Mijović mocked fighters, and now 'pardoned' Dodik

While Milorad Dodik, a genocide denier and destroyer of the constitutional order, freely walks in front of and behind the walls of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, heroes have been sitting on the benches for the accused for years. Members of the Fifth Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. People who defended Bihać, who did not cross the threshold of someone else's home, who stopped the genocidal army when everyone else was silent.

And then you hear that Dodik was acquitted "elegantly," without fanfare, without handcuffs, without questions. And do you know who acquitted him? Vedrana Mijović. Yes, the same prosecutor who has been present for years in trials against fighters of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The same one who, according to witness statements, during an arrest of a member of the 5th Corps said:

"What are you scared of, I won't sentence you to less than 105, more than 505 years."

Yes, you read that correctly. She mocks the brigades of the 5th Corps, mocks the people she is prosecuting, while whispering freedom to a man who spits on this state every day. If anyone had a task, it was her, together with the judges of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. To destroy the 5th Corps. To prosecute Dudaković. To equate the aggressor and the defender. And today, to release Dodik.

All of this is the judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Or, better said, what is left of it.

And none of this is accidental. Because Vedrana Mijović is not just a "prosecutor." She is the daughter of Slavko Jovičić Slavuj, a long-time SNSD representative in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina. A man posthumously awarded the Gold Medal for Courage "Miloš Obilić" by Aleksandar Vučić. And the medal was received precisely by her, Vedrana. The daughter. The prosecutor. In service of continuity.

Her professional biography is equally "interesting": an internship at the Basic Court in Rogatica, an inspector for economic crime in the Ministry of Interior of the Republika Srpska, an associate in the Prosecutor's Office of East Sarajevo. Sounds familiar? Sounds like a pattern. And then she comes to the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, then the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Gradually, planned, systematically.

And now, when Milanko Kajganić, the chief prosecutor (he became that due to signing the indictment in the Dobrovoljačka case), just before Dodik's "voluntary" arrival, disbanded the entire investigative team against him, only she remained. Vedrana Mijović. And that very person decided, no detention. No measures. No risk.

And you wonder why the judiciary does not function?

It does not function because the judiciary has died. It died quietly, without ceremony, without announcement. It died on the day when those who were supposed to defend the state began serving its destroyers. When they prosecuted those who fought, and acquitted those who would burn everything down.

And no, this is not an isolated case. This is a system. This is a plan. This is a message.
