Will the NBA soon expand to 32 teams?

(Patria) - The NBA league is soon to be expanded from 30 to 32 teams, American media report.

It is speculated that the cities that should get teams in the strongest basketball league in the world are Las Vegas and Seattle.

Seattle already had a team (SuperSonics) from 1967 to 2008, which was then moved to Oklahoma City.

As stated, the formation of the teams will be finalized after the signing of a new collective bargaining agreement on television rights in the NBA.

The league is already working extensively on a deal that will make the teams even richer.

Reportedly, one of the key investors in the Las Vegas team will be the biggest star of modern basketball, LeBron James.

For both teams to be in the Western Conference, one of the existing teams would have to move to the Eastern Conference, and the candidates for this are Memphis, Minnesota, and New Orleans.
