
(Patria) - One person was injured in an attack that occurred on Tuesday on the M-17 main road in Potoci near Mostar, confirmed by the Ministry of Interior of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
The injured person received medical assistance and was transported to the Cantonal Hospital "Dr. Safet Mujić" in Mostar.
Police officers of the Mostar Police Department are at the scene conducting an investigation, and more information will be known after its completion.
The attack by a group of still unidentified individuals occurred around 7:30 AM, when a vehicle was attacked and then set on fire.
Photographs from the scene show that two vehicles collided, while the attackers fled the scene in two vehicles.
The Caddy vehicle used by the attackers was registered to a business in Donja Jasenica, a settlement south of Mostar.
The attack involved Zrinjski fans, the Ultrasi, who attacked Velež fans who were on their way to Sarajevo, from where they were supposed to fly to Wales where the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team is playing a playoff match.
