Search continues for policeman and fugitive who disappeared in swollen Jala river

(Patria) - The search for policeman Samir Mustafić and a fugitive man, who disappeared last week in the swollen Jala river in Tuzla, continued this morning from 8 AM, the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton announced.

In addition to police forces, members of mountain rescue services from Lukavac and Srebrenik also joined the operation, intensifying efforts to find the missing persons.

As a reminder, on March 27, Mustafić, along with two colleagues, jumped into the river in an attempt to catch the fugitive. While the other two policemen managed to avoid the water current and save themselves, Mustafić and the man they were pursuing did not manage to get out of the river.
