Delivery of new Stadler trams continues, testing on the line to begin next week

(Patria) - Another new Stadler tram arrived in Sarajevo late last night, while testing on the new Sarajevo tram line will begin next week.

Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton Adnan Šteta said that all necessary type approvals and tests that will apply to all trams are currently being carried out on the delivered trams, and that each subsequent tram delivered will be ready for acceptance.

We remind you that the contract for the purchase of 15 new Stadler trams was signed in 2021. The minister added that test drives are also being conducted within the tram depot.

"Now that the third tram has arrived, we can announce that we will begin with the first tests on the new Sarajevo tram line next week. I am proud that Sarajevo will have the best tram transport in the region, and we are continuing with investments and modernization of public urban transport this year as well," said Minister Šteta.
