Naša stranka has requested an immediate halt to food distribution by Gold Mignon d.o.o. to all public institutions where this company delivers food for service users and their employees, after poisonings in Sarajevo kindergartens raised questions of responsibility, both for delivery and storage procedures, and for tender procedures in selecting distributors, it was announced, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- Instead of banning the company from distributing food until further notice, the inspection has exclusively banned the trade of food of animal origin, for which it is not registered anyway, and it is not the sole cause of food poisoning of our youngest. We must take into account the fact that Gold Mignon d.o.o. does not deliver food and other materials only to JU "Djeca Sarajevo", but this business exceeds eight million marks and covers the Institute for the Care of Persons with Mental Disabilities Bakovići, the Institute for the Health Protection of Women and Motherhood of KS, the General Hospital "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš", the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, thus covering the supply of the most vulnerable categories of the population," said Ćudić.

- How is it that only now the Veterinary Inspection issues a decision on a partial ban on work, even though this is a regular task of the inspection, which should not have waited for mass food poisoning to be fulfilled. Finally, children cannot wait for inspections. Prime Minister Konaković's answer that we must not stop Gold Mignon's work, because they could allegedly sue the Canton later and receive millions in damages, is completely unacceptable. Establish the facts later, now is the time for reaction and an immediate halt to the delivery of food that has been identified as the cause of salmonella - concluded Ćudić.
