TENDER RIGGING Deputy Prime Minister Vojin Mijatović's phone seized

(Patria) - By order of POSKOK, police officers seized the phone of Federal Deputy Prime Minister Vojin Mijatović, Istraga.ba has learned.

The phone was seized as part of an investigation into a tender rigging case for the award of a project worth 1.2 million KM in the field of IT technologies. The case was initiated based on a report filed by the company Bloomteq.

Bloomteq applied for the public call for the project "Startup Ecosystem Development" worth 1.2 million KM, which was announced on March 21, 2025, by Mijatović's ministry. They stated that they recognized the rigging at the time and did not expect to pass the competition.

When the results were announced on April 1, out of two companies that met the conditions, theirs was ranked second. On April 9, they filed a formal objection, which was promptly rejected on April 11.

According to Bloomteq, on April 28, while signing the contract with the consortium that won the bid, Mijatović made a statement in which he issued a public threat, stating that "there are no more Silver Berries, and everyone has the right to use all legal actions to possibly resolve their ambiguities," alluding to the Respirators case.

Just seven days later, a tax inspection arrived at Bloomteq, described by the company as a "special team of inspectors for silencing" from Tuzla.

"To ensure that all of this is not based solely on our suspicion, the owner of a company that also has private connections with Mijatović took care of it, who, while a guest on the Plenum podcast, publicly admitted Vojin Mijatović's criminal offense – he literally said that the minister promised to announce a 'public' tender for them and award them 1.2 million KM of citizens' money," Bloomteq stated.
In the Plenum podcast, Senad Šantić, a member of the winning consortium Techstars Sarajevo, openly spoke about the agreement with Minister Vojin Mijatović before the tender was announced.

"Bojan and colleague Harun had a meeting with Mijatović. He was interested. A public tender was supposed to be issued, and that's when they created that call," Šantić stated on the Plenum podcast.

After the podcast aired, Foundation 787, which was part of the winning consortium, immediately withdrew from it due to suspicions of corruption.
