After Karić's report, FUP sends dispatch to MUP KS to enhance her security

(Patria) - The Federal Police Administration has sent a dispatch to the MUP of Sarajevo Canton to enhance the security of the mayor, confirmed the acting director of FUP, Vahidin Munjić, for Patria.

As Patria learns, MUP KS patrols will be visiting the address where Mayor Benjamina Karić lives with her family.

The FUP dispatch followed a report filed by the mayor against Amir Gross Kabiri, who sent her photos of murdered children on social media, and she expressed concern for the safety of her child. Kabiri is the director of Aluminij Mostar.

As confirmed by Munjić for Patria, the Federal Police Administration has forwarded the report to the competent Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton for appropriate decision-making.

"If the Prosecutor's Office orders it, we will question the reported person," said Munjić.

We are awaiting information from the KS Prosecutor's Office on whether they have already acted on the report and whether they have issued any orders regarding this report.

Karić stated in her post that Kabiri has been harassing her on social media and in public for months.

The attacks, she said, became more brutal when she publicly condemned the killing of innocent civilians in Palestine, as well as the killing of innocent civilians in Israel.

"From that day on, Amir Gross Kabiri, both publicly and privately - in the inbox of my social networks, sends me photos of murdered children, accuses me of supporting Hamas, condemns my condemnation of the killing of innocents in Gaza. With his posts, he motivates and calls on his followers to do the same as he does. He shares and sends me videos and photos of brutal murders and abuse personally, with messages that I understood as a threat to the safety not only of myself personally, but also of my family, telling me in them that 'history will judge me very soon', and that my stances 'will not be forgiven', etc. - Karić stated.
