(Patria) - The Sarajevo Canton Assembly will today consider the resignation of Prime Minister Nihad Uk, or rather the Canton Government. While some claim that institutions must continue to work in a so-called technical mandate, others believe the resignation is a false move.
Ahead of the session at which the Prime Minister's resignation and the dismissal of the Sarajevo Canton Government will be considered, SDP deputies state that the political situation must not block the work of institutions.
The opposition states that nothing substantial will change even with the appointment of a new government. They believe the decision to resign should have been made earlier, and that this session should have been solely dedicated to the dismissal of the KS Government.
They assess the entire situation as a political and marketing trick.
The informal citizens' group "Hoćel' ta promjena" (Will there be that change) has called on citizens to join them in the ninth protest over the tram accident in which Erdoan Morankić was fatally injured.
It is evident that after the climatological spring, a political spring has also arrived in Sarajevo. The fate of the Government and the way the crisis will be overcome will be decided today, and citizens will be in front of the legislative body's building demanding that the deputies act responsibly.
