Latest Warning for BiH Citizens: Do Not Travel to Yemen

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina calls on BiH citizens not to travel to the Republic of Yemen until further notice, due to increased sectarian violence and deterioration of the security situation in that country, reports the Patria news agency.

- Bosnia and Herzegovina does not have a resident diplomatic-consular mission in Yemen, and covers that country from Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). This fact significantly affects the possibility of directly providing assistance and support to BiH citizens in emergency situations, and therefore we ask all BiH citizens who intend to travel to Yemen to take this warning seriously – said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

Incidentally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina has previously called on BiH citizens not to travel to Egypt, Libya, Iraq and Ukraine until further notice.
