Best BH skier Elvedina Muzaferija in pursuit of Europa Cup points

(Patria) - The women's World Cup speed events, scheduled for this weekend in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, have been cancelled due to above-average temperatures, and the best Bosnian-Herzegovinian alpine skier, Elvedina Muzaferija, moves to the Europa Cup competition.

For the first time this season, on 5 and 6 February, Muzaferija will compete in a European ski competition Super-G race in La Thuile, Italy.

“This will be my first race this season within the Europa Cup, so the start number will be above thirty. I hope the course will be very well prepared, and that I can achieve a good result even with a higher start number,” says Muzaferija.

After that, the BH team travels to Crans Montana where, on 10 and 11 February, the Europa Cup competition will be held, followed by the World Cup.

“We are also traveling to Crans Montana for the Europa Cup Downhill races, then we stay there for the World Cup races which will be held on 17 and 18 February in the Downhill and Super-G disciplines,” says Muzaferija, adding that she feels good on skis and expects a good placement in the upcoming races.
