(Patria) - The best BH swimmer Lana Pudar celebrates her 18th birthday today. Congratulations are arriving from all sides, and her club Orka sent a special greeting with photos of Lana as a little girl when she started swimming training.
In just a few years, Pudar has built a name in the swimming world, and the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina has flown around the world wherever she competed. She has won 20 medals.
In the selection of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pudar was declared the best female athlete in the senior competition, and afterwards she also received the award for the best athlete of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2023.
In 2023, Lana won a total of 9 medals, of which five are gold, two silver and two bronze medals. Likewise, Lana achieved two Olympic qualifying standards for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, set two European junior records, three junior championship records, one world championship record and won the trophy for the best female swimmer of the World Junior Championships. She swam a total of 12 final races at major competitions.
