(Patria) - The Supervisory Board of Railways of FBiH has not yet appointed acting members of the company's Management after the FBiH Government gave its prior consent at Wednesday's session.
As reported by Vijesti.ba, the Supervisory Board is not ready to make the appointment because the HDZ candidate for executive director for railway infrastructure affairs does not meet the prescribed conditions required for this position. Dejan Kvesić is reportedly an architect by profession, and only engineers of traffic, electrical engineering, and civil engineering can be appointed to the position.
However, that is not the only problem. The Government first gave consent for the dismissal, and then for the appointment of new Management members, including Reuf Sulejmanović, a cadre of Our Party. But, only a few hours after the decision, the Government convened again and withdrew the appointment because Sulejmanović is under investigation and subject to certain restraining orders due to the controversial appointment of Nijaz Salamović as executive, and then as director of KJKP Rad, and Sulejmanović was the chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Our Party has submitted a new proposal, Anel Topalović, the current advisor to the Minister of Transport and Communications, Edin Forte. As Patria learns, he is still in the position of advisor to Edin Forte and has not resigned.
We remind you that the FBiH Government gave prior consent to the Supervisory Board for the appointment of acting members of the Management of this public company, for a period of up to three months or until the completion of the tender procedure. These are Mirza Hadžibegić for acting general director - chairman of the Management, Dejan Kvesić for acting executive director for railway infrastructure affairs, Zlatko Jelić for acting executive director for economic affairs, Ena Duran - Živanović for acting executive director for legal and personnel affairs, Adnan Kubat for acting executive director for railway operator affairs, and Topalović instead of Reuf Sulejmanović for acting executive director for investments and development.
The Supervisory Board of Railways has seven members: Ivana Tomović, president, and members Slobodan Kadijević, Tomislav Galić, Damir Dinarević, Želimir Bukarić, Asmira Hujdurović-Ibrišimović, and Amir Šibić.
The FBiH Government gave prior consent to dismiss the previous and appoint a new Management of JP “Sarajevo International Airport”, and one of the proposed directors is Slobodan Kadijević, who is on the Supervisory Board of Railways.
