Nadal delighted with Sarajevo: It would be nice to return to a city with a soul

Antonio Nadal Homar, coach and uncle of the current world's best tennis player Rafael Nadal, is spending this weekend in Sarajevo. Today he took time to get acquainted with the history and beauty of the city, writes Patria agency.

Toni Nadal visited the old part of the city, City Hall, Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque and the Museum of Sarajevo, accompanied by Nermin Muzur, president of the Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton.

- I heard a lot about Sarajevo as an Olympic city. But I could never have imagined that there was a city with such a soul. Its rich and diverse history captivates at first sight. It would be nice to return again - Nadal stated briefly.

Nadal's visit to Sarajevo did not go unnoticed. Numerous tourists and citizens of Sarajevo who recognized him wanted to meet and greet the famous coach, and take photos with him.

- We are fortunate that, thanks to the GPTCA association and the Tennis Federation of BiH, the coach of all coaches, Toni Nadal, visited Sarajevo. This is of great value for the promotion of our city. We tried our best to present our Sarajevo to him in the best possible way, enabling him not only to see valuable monuments but also to feel the soul of Sarajevo and the hospitality that Sarajevans offer their guests every day - said Nermin Muzur.

Toni Nadal is on a three-day visit to Sarajevo on the occasion of a seminar for tennis coaches held at the Olympic Committee of BiH in the Zetra complex. The visit of Nadal to Sarajevo is thanks to Ismar Gorčić, president of the Global Professional Tennis Coaches Association (GPTCA) and the Tennis Federation of BiH, who are the joint organizers of the seminar.
