Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH Gojko Knežević attends the Serbian Army parade in Belgrade

(Patria) - The military parade "Strength of Unity" is being held in Belgrade from 11:00 AM, with around 10,000 participants. Among the present dignitaries are Milorad Dodik, member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić, as well as the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH Gojko Knežević, and ministers in the Government of Republika Srpska.

Knežević was invited by the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army Milan Mojsilović, and despite the ban on military cooperation between BiH and Serbia being in effect by decision of Defense Minister Zukan Helez, except for soldier training, Knežević is in Belgrade today in the military uniform of the Armed Forces of BiH.

The parade is also attended by Deputy Minister of Defense Aleksandar Goganović, who said that Helez did not want to sign his travel order.

On May 16, Helez suspended all activities within the framework of bilateral military cooperation between the Ministry of Defense of BiH and the Ministry of Defense of Serbia due to the unprofessional behavior of the Minister of Defense of Serbia Bratislav Gašić.

Minister of Defense of Serbia Bratislav Gašić remained seated during the intonation of the anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the marking of the Day of the Army of Republika Srpska and the Day of the Third Infantry Regiment of Republika Srpska, at the Kozara barracks in Banja Luka on May 12.

In addition to Gašić, Milorad Dodik, then President of Republika Srpska, also remained seated during the intonation of the anthem.

The military parade is also attended by guests from abroad, including the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a delegation from Bahrain led by Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and military delegations from France, China, Hungary, and the USA.
