
(Patria) - At the request of the BiH Council of Ministers Chairperson Borjana Krišto, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) is vetting the president of the Socialist Party of Srpska, Goran Selak, it has been confirmed for FTV.
Selak is the SNSD's proposal for the new BiH Minister of Security, after the arrested Nenad Nešić was dismissed.
SIPA is verifying the truthfulness of what Selak stated in the form of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH.
This is a standard procedure. He must also undergo security checks, based on which the Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA) of BiH grants access to classified and top-secret data.
The deadline for checks is one month, and if Selak successfully passes the process, Krišto will submit the proposal to the House of Representatives for a vote.
Meanwhile, Istraga.ba reported that Selak's name is mentioned in the Sky application.
