(Patria) - The Brdo-Brioni summit was held in Skopje, attended by all three members of the BiH Presidency: Željko Komšić, Denis Bećirović and Željka Cvijanović.
As stated by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, a very fair and constructive discussion took place during the summit. The talks focused mostly on the relationship of the Western Balkan region with the EU and what we could all ask for.
The European future was discussed.
"Some have a bit more enthusiasm, some a bit less. In any case, today passed in a very fair and constructive discussion. There were no big arguments or fights, since we and Pristina left our problems for Thursday and Brussels," said Vučić.
"What we could ask for ranges from various roaming initiatives across Europe to establishing 'green lanes' to a common market, to what is written in the declaration itself - to become an EU member as soon as possible, i.e., to obtain membership no later than 2030. These are, in my opinion, nice wishes, but who am I to dampen the optimism of others and diminish the ambition of others, so my stance was to accept - great if it happens, but whether it will happen, I am not sure," Vučić stated.
He emphasized that the meeting was certainly fair and good, and that it is always good to hear what others think and for them to hear what you think.
