(Patria) - The Alliance of Independent Trade Unions of BiH organized the May Day workers' breakfast this morning at 10 AM in Vilsonovo šetalište, and along with trade unionists, the authorities were also present.
The Federal Prime Minister and President of SDP BiH Nermin Nikšić arrived at Vilsonovo šetalište accompanied by Nerina Dizdar, the Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees, while citizens responded in smaller numbers.
Nikšić told the media that we are still far from the status that workers in FBiH should have.
"Although we have slightly improved that standard with these latest measures. This is not our final goal, and we have activities ahead of us that will contribute to the regulation of BiH's fiscal system," said Nikšić.
This year, there were no organized protest gatherings, although citizens are facing increasing price hikes and a decline in the quality of life.
