AT MACRON'S INVITATION: Members of the BiH Presidency in Paris at the End of October

(Patria) - Authorized by the Chair of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić, his advisor Slaven Kovačević received the Special Envoy of France for the Western Balkans, René Troccaz.

They discussed the current political situation in BiH, as well as the possibilities of establishing trust in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which would lead to the completion of the reconciliation process in the country.

In this regard, it was particularly emphasized that European principles and standards, necessary for Bosnia and Herzegovina's accession to full EU membership, can be a useful tool for building mutual trust in the country, using a different political paradigm from the one we currently have.

It was stressed that the entire European Union is founded on the civic principle and that it would be beneficial to apply this principle in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well, through the adoption of European standards.

On behalf of Chair Komšić, special gratitude was expressed for the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron for a visit and reception of all members of the BiH Presidency, which will take place at the end of October in Paris.

Troccaz was particularly interested in the possibility of a joint appearance and a common stance of the BiH Presidency members on some current issues, which would also strengthen France's support in the coming period.
