Cigarette filling machine, fine-cut tobacco, and cigarettes seized in TK region

(Patria) - Authorized officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority from RC Tuzla, in an operational action codenamed "ZMAJ", located a facility (former footwear production plant) where a multifunctional electric line cigarette filling machine with a capacity of 1900-2000 cigarettes per hour was found.

The machine was used for the illegal production of cigarettes which were used for further distribution and sale by several individuals in the Tuzla Canton area.

During the official actions, a certain quantity of fine-cut tobacco and factory-filled cigarettes (5200 cigarettes and 11 kg of fine-cut tobacco) was also found and seized.

Legal measures and actions will be taken against the individual in whose possession the machine and the disputed goods were found, in accordance with current legal regulations.

The Indirect Taxation Authority calls on all citizens to report any form of illegal trade, tax or customs evasion on the open line of the ITA 080 02 06 07. All calls are free and completely anonymous.
