Traffic halted on main road Doboj - Modriča due to traffic accident

(Patria) - Traffic on the main road Doboj-Modriča (in the village of Dugo Polje) has been halted due to a traffic accident. Vehicles are being redirected to the regional road towards Modriča, Vranjak and Koprivna.

On the roads of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the pavement is locally wet or damp. Fog reduces visibility on sections passing through valleys and along river courses.

On the section of the main road Jablanica-Mostar, traffic is enabled for all vehicle categories, although in the area of Donja Jablanica traffic is slowed and regulated by temporary traffic signs. The traffic halt on the main road Jablanica-Blidinje remains in effect.

Due to works on replacing expansion joints on the Reljevo viaduct, on the Sarajevo north-Butila highway section, vehicles travel in one traffic lane in the direction of travel. On the Podlugovi-Visoko section, due to works on installing noise barriers at the work site, a passing lane is in use, and the speed limit is reduced to 60 km/h.

On the main roads Matuzići-Doboj and Vitez-Kaonik, due to ongoing works, traffic is slowed with alternating vehicle passage. Given that these are highly frequented sections, longer vehicle queues form in both directions at the work sites during the day.

Rehabilitation works are also ongoing on the main roads: Simin Han-Donje Caparde, Doboj-Gračanica (Brijesnica Velika), Kladanj-Živinice, Prozor/Rama-Jablanica, Foča-Ustikolina, Tarčin-Konjic and Međeđa-Višegrad.

On the main road Rogatica-Ustiprača, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons travel in one lane, while traffic for vehicles over 30 tons is halted.

At border crossings, passenger vehicles do not wait longer than 30 minutes.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses may use the GP Šepak crossing.
