At the proposal of the SDA president, the members of the Main Board elected at the congress and the ex officio members of the Main Board elect another 14 members of the Main Board to ensure more equitable representation of all segments of the membership (ensuring ethnic, qualification, gender, age representation, and representation of SDA members from abroad). One of the delegates to tomorrow's Congress is the state representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Šemsudin Mehmedović. His candidacy for SDA president was rejected, and in his reaction, he stated that he is not giving up on the mission of building a better SDA. He did not clearly state whether he would leave the party after tomorrow's Congress, but he has presented an idea for a new movement in the public sphere, which he has also offered to other political options.
