
(Patria) - The Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Refik Lendo, after being urgently transported to the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, underwent surgery tonight in the Neurosurgery department.
Tahir Lendo, Prime Minister of the Central Bosnia Canton, confirmed this for Faktor.
According to Tahir Lendo, Refik Lendo had a blood clot (hematoma) removed.
- He woke up after the surgery, he is communicative, stable. Doctors are monitoring his condition. He is conscious, he is good. He had terrible headaches today, which is why he sought medical attention - Lendo said.
In an earlier conversation, Tahir Lendo told Faktor that the Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina underwent a CT scan during a medical examination, after which he was urgently transported to KCUS for surgery.
