Water levels on Una hydrological stations slightly rising, state of emergency in effect in Spreča river basin

(Patria) - The Sava River Water Agency (AVP) announced that a slight rise in water levels is currently being recorded at most hydrological stations in the Una river basin, while water levels in the remaining part of the Sava River basin are stagnating.

They add that a state of emergency is still in effect in the Spreča River basin, upstream and downstream of the Modrac accumulation.

Given the new rainfall, they expect this situation to last until April 3, 2026.

In addition to the Spreča River, a rise in water levels is also forecast for the Usora River, and flash floods are possible on category two watercourses in the Usora river basin.

Due to elevated water levels in the canal network in the Odžak and Middle Posavina areas, water is being pumped into the Sava River, the AVP Sava announced.
