14 persons arrested at BiH border crossings on warrants from Interpol, courts and police

(Patria) - Members of the Border Police Unit of Bosnia and Herzegovina Orašje yesterday deprived of liberty a BiH citizen with initials J.U. (1994.).

Namely, border checks established that the Basic Court in Bosanska Gradiška is searching for her due to the criminal offense of Evasion of Providing Support. She was checked upon entry into BiH at the International Border Crossing Orašje and handed over to officers of the District Center of the Judicial Police Banja Luka.

On the same day, members of this unit, also upon entry into our country at the Orašje crossing, deprived of liberty I.O. (1970.) because it was established that the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton issued a search warrant for him due to the criminal offense of Unauthorized Possession and Carrying of Weapons. The BiH citizen was handed over to officers of the Police Administration Živinice.

In addition, members of the GPBiH Unit Orašje on July 23 deprived of liberty J.O. (1997.), after it was established that the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton issued a search warrant for her for serving a prison sentence and due to the criminal offense of Theft. The BiH citizen was checked upon entry into BiH at the Orašje crossing and handed over to officers of the Center of Judicial Police in Posavina Canton.

Members of the GPBiH Unit Bosanska Gradiška yesterday deprived of liberty M.P. (1974.) because it was established that the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska issued a search warrant for him due to the criminal offense of Endangering Public Traffic. A citizen of Australia and BiH was checked upon entry into BiH at the Bosanska Gradiška crossing and handed over to officers of the MUP of Republika Srpska.

Previously, on July 25, 2025, members of this unit deprived of liberty A.Č. (1997.) upon entry into our country at the Bosanska Gradiška crossing. It was established that the MUP RS issued a search warrant for this BiH citizen due to the criminal offense of Aggravated Theft. He was handed over to officers of the MUP RS.

Members of the GPBiH Unit Bijeljina on July 27 handed over C.G. (2006.) to officers of the District Center of the Judicial Police Doboj, after it was established that the Basic Court in Doboj is searching for him due to the criminal offense of Aggravated Theft. The BiH citizen was checked upon exit from BiH at the Popovi crossing.

On the same day, members of the GPBiH Unit Bosanski Brod, upon entry into our country at the Bosanski Brod crossing, deprived of liberty BiH citizen V.O. (1998.). It was established that the Municipal Court in Sarajevo is searching for him due to the criminal offense of Theft. He was handed over to officers of the Center of Judicial Police in Posavina Canton.

Also on July 27, members of this unit deprived of liberty E.N. (1989.), after it was established that the Ministry of Interior of Zenica-Doboj Canton issued a search warrant for him due to the criminal offense of Evasion of Support. The BiH citizen was checked upon entry into BiH at the Bosanski Brod crossing and handed over to officers of the MUP of Zenica-Doboj Canton.

Members of the GPBiH Unit Banja Luka Airport on July 27 on a flight to Vienna deprived of liberty S.J. (1979.) because it was established that the Basic Court in Gradiška is searching for him for serving a prison sentence. A BiH citizen was handed over to officers of the District Center of the Judicial Police Banja Luka.

Members of the GPBiH Unit Sarajevo Airport on July 25 deprived of liberty B.R. (1983.) because it was established that the Court of BiH is searching for him due to the criminal offense of Forgery of Documents. A BiH citizen arrived at Sarajevo International Airport on a flight from Istanbul. He was handed over to officers of the Institute for Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Detention and Other Measures of BiH.

On the same day, members of the GPBiH Unit Trebinje deprived of liberty E.M. (2002.) upon entry into our country at the Ivanica crossing. It was established that the Ministry of Interior of Zenica-Doboj Canton issued a search warrant for him due to the criminal offense of Endangering Security. The BiH citizen was handed over to officers of the Police Station Olovo.

Members of the GPBiH Unit Zvornik on July 25 deprived of liberty A.A. (1995.), after it was established that Interpol Budapest issued a warrant for him due to criminal offenses related to illegal migration. A citizen of Serbia was checked upon entry into BiH at the Šepak crossing and handed over to officers of the Judicial Police of the Court of BiH.

Members of the GPBiH Unit Tuzla Airport on July 23 on a flight to Basel deprived of liberty E.J. (1982.). It was established that the Municipal Court in Sarajevo is searching for this BiH citizen due to the criminal offenses of Aggravated Theft and Possession and Enabling Enjoyment of Narcotic Drugs, and the Basic Court in Sokolac due to the criminal offense of Aggravated Theft, and the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton due to the criminal offense of Aggravated Theft. He was handed over to officers of the District Center of the Judicial Police East Sarajevo.

Members of the GPBiH Unit Bijeljina on July 22 deprived of liberty D.V. (1985.) upon entry into our country at the Rača crossing. Checks established that he is being sought by the Basic Court in Doboj due to the criminal offenses of Damage and Deprivation of Another's Property and Aggravated Theft, and the Basic Court in Banja Luka due to the criminal offense of Inducing Certification of False Content. A BiH citizen was handed over to officers of the District Center of the Judicial Police Doboj.
