
(Patria) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina informs the public about the measures taken regarding the evacuation of our citizens from the Gaza Strip:
To date, 23 Bosnian citizens and their family members have contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, specifically the BiH Embassy in Cairo, requesting evacuation. All individuals seeking evacuation are currently located in the Gaza Strip.
Ambassadors and embassy staff in Cairo and Tel Aviv are in constant contact with the relevant institutions of Egypt and Israel and regularly report on all developments on the ground to the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH in Sarajevo.
The BiH MFA and embassies have submitted lists of BiH citizens and their families to the competent authorities of Egypt and Israel, as well as to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism to ensure their evacuation.
We inform the public that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina has formed a crisis headquarters at its headquarters to coordinate evacuation activities for our citizens and monitor the developments in the Middle East. The crisis headquarters will be operational until further notice.
