Muzaferija: I am overjoyed, I hope this result will help something change in BiH!

(Patria) - The best Bosnian-Herzegovinian skier Elvedina Muzaferija achieved the best result in our skiing history at the World Cup by winning fourth place in the downhill race in Crans Montana (Switzerland). She was only 11 hundredths of a second away from the podium, and she achieved this success with bib number 28.

After this great achievement, the skier from Visoko announced, stating that she is overjoyed and added that this is just the beginning of great things in her career.

"Greetings to all viewers, I have just finished the race in Crans Montana, where I finished in fourth place, which is definitely my best result and for Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am truly overjoyed, I am glad that I finally showed that I ski well, that I can compete with the best. Today was definitely close to the podium, only 11 hundredths of a second. Unfortunately, I lost that in the last part of the track, but I am happy anyway and I think this is just the beginning of my good results," said the BiH skier and added:

"I hope this result will help something change in BiH regarding winter sports and that there will be more of us at the start. Thank you for cheering for me and following me tomorrow as well," concluded Muzaferija.

After today's success, Muzaferija will be among the top 25 downhill skiers in the world, which means she will also compete in the final event in Saalbach.

More precisely, with 50 new points, she is now the 23rd downhill skier in the world with 69 points, exactly 300 less than leader Gut-Behrami.
