Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball player Džanan Musa was selected as the 29th pick in the first round of the NBA draft by the Brooklyn Nets.
The Phoenix Suns selected University of Arizona player Deandre Ayton as the first pick in this year's NBA league draft. Young Slovenian Luka Dončić was selected as the third pick by the Atlanta Hawks, who immediately traded him to the Dallas Mavericks.
Sacramento had the right to the second pick, and general manager Vlade Divac and the Kings management decided on Marvin Bagley III, a power forward from Duke University.
Musa said he felt in his heart that now was the right time to go to the NBA.
